Test Mode
Experiment and Refine Your Table Without Wasting Credits
The Test Mode feature allows you to experiment, adjust, and refine your Ottogrid table without consuming any credits. It’s designed to give you the flexibility to make modifications and perfect your table setup before running it on a larger scale.
How Does Test Mode Work?
Toggle On/Off: You can activate Test Mode by turning on the toggle on your table page. A banner will appear, indicating that you're now in Test Mode. To turn it off, simply toggle it again, and your table will return to normal credit usage.
Limited Access: While in Test Mode, only the first 2 rows of your table will be available for editing. This limitation ensures you can test and refine your table without consuming credits excessively.
Experiment and Adjust: Test Mode allows you to:
Add or modify columns
Refine prompts and instructions
Test different column inputs and configurations
When Should You Use Test Mode?
At the Start of a New Table: Test Mode is ideal when you’re creating a new table. Toggle Test Mode on as soon as you start building, and refine your setup until you're satisfied with the structure, prompts, and overall configuration.
Refining Column Configurations: Adjust how columns interact with each other and build effective data chains without worrying about credit consumption.
Experimenting with Prompts: Test and fine-tune your prompts to ensure that the AI delivers the output you expect.
Tip: Test Mode is perfect for the early stages of building and refining your table. Use it freely to experiment until you’re happy with your setup, and only switch it off once you’re ready to work with larger datasets.
Important Notes and Caveats
Limited to 2 Rows: Test Mode restricts you to working with the first two rows of your table, which allows for risk-free testing while preventing misuse.
No Credits Consumed: Any actions or changes made in Test Mode do not consume credits.
Exiting Test Mode: Once you turn off Test Mode, your table will revert to normal, and actions will start consuming credits as usual.
